Treatment of Abnormal Uterine Bleeding

Abnormal uterine bleeding is one of the most frequent complaints of the gynecological patient.

In response to this problem, the physicians at South Bay have received specialized training in the treatment of this common disorder.

Advances in diagnosis such as sonohyterography and office hysteroscopy make trips to the operating room a less common occurrence.

Minimally invasive surgical techniques such as laparoscopy, operative hysteroscopy, and endometrial ablation have replaced some of the more invasive and debilitating procedures of yesteryear.

As part of our commitment to this problem, our staff actively participates in the teaching and credentialling of other physicians in the community in these techniques.
