Dympna Lynch Weil MD

Dr. Weil is Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology. She attended New York University and graduated Magna Cum Laude. After her undergraduate studies, Dr. Weil then spent one year pursuing and attaining her certification as an Irish dance treacher(T.C.R.G) before returning to NYU to attend the School of Medicine. After graduation, she then completed her Residency training at the State University on New York at Stony Brook. During her Residency, Dr. Weil was the recipient of the Berlex National Resident Teaching Award, The David Marzouk. MD Humanism in Medicine Award, Resident of the year, and had the honor of serving as Administrative Chief during her final year.

Following residency, Dr. Weil was appointed as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology & Reproductive Medicine at Stony Brook, where she practiced general OBGYN, taught medical students, and trained residents in the field. Her professional interests include gynecologic ultrasound, adolecent care, and general gynecology.
